DIRECTOR - ET Canada

drian is an accomplished Director with a proven track record of leading high-impact productions for one of Canada’s most iconic entertainment brands.
He directed over 60 nationally broadcast episodes of Entertainment Tonight Canada, the one-hour ET Canada Weekend show, and the ET Canada LIVE digital series—reaching millions of viewers across television and online platforms.

In this role, Adrian worked at the intersection of broadcast excellence and digital innovation. He collaborated seamlessly with celebrity talent, publicists, writers, producers, graphic artists, editors, and the digital and marketing teams to craft compelling segments, branded content, and cross-platform deliverables. His direction helped shape the visual identity and storytelling standards of a leading entertainment franchise.

Below is a curated selection of standout projects that showcase Adrian’s versatility and leadership from the control room.

Beyond the director’s chair, Adrian was a driving creative force behind ET Canada's visual identity—leading the Graphics team while also contributing as a Video Editor and Photographer.
With 19 years of experience in the television industry, Adrian learned his expertise through renowned networks including Rogers Sports & Media, E! News, and Corus Entertainment. His technical fluency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, and the new world of AI programs allowed him to elevate visual storytelling across national broadcasts and digital platforms.

As Graphics Team Lead, Adrian was responsible for the daily execution of high-impact visual content for both broadcast and social media. He collaborated with dozens of producers and Executive leadership to design branded motion graphics, set visuals, logo packages, and sales-driven creative assets. His efforts directly supported multiple Canadian Screen Award wins and positioned ET Canada at the forefront of modern entertainment design.

In his role as Art Director, Adrian developed comprehensive visual systems—overseeing everything from custom animation pipelines to internal project tracking tools tailored around render timelines, sales needs, and creative complexity. His contributions were instrumental in defining the show's evolving aesthetic, consistently raising the bar for broadcast production value.

Simply put: Adrian didn’t just help shape how ET Canada looked—he helped define how it felt.

For the primetime special Vikings: Worlds at War with ET Canada, Adrian spearheaded the visual design that brought the epic world of Vikings Season 6 to life—merging cinematic storytelling with immersive graphic artistry.
Hosted by Carlos Bustamante and aired on the History Channel, the broadcast offered viewers an exclusive behind-the-scenes journey into the internationally acclaimed series. Filmed on-location in Ireland, the special featured rare access to the show's set and cast, combining rich editorial content with stunning visuals.

Adrian conceptualized and executed a bespoke graphics package that fused original photography with the gritty, mythic tone of the Vikings universe. Indoor set imagery was transformed using layered animation, particle effects, and floating typography—produced entirely in After Effects. Outdoor visuals were elevated with dramatic time-lapse clouds, 3D-extruded lettering, and textured overlays, producing a "living photograph" aesthetic that echoed the cinematic grandeur of the series.

This project exemplifies Adrian’s ability to capture and elevate location photos and develop them into editorial storytelling through sophisticated visual design—creating not just a television special, but an experience.

These live productions weren’t confined to the studio: Adrian led giant remote crews across Canada, the U.S., and the Caribbean, delivering polished, on-the-ground content for both broadcast and digital distribution.
